Overview
AdventHealth Porter Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Behavioral Health Medical Director to join its team in Denver, Colorado. The Porter Centre for Behavioral Health is a comprehensive, well-regarded program with a diverse and dynamic team and AdventHealth Porter serves as the hub for behavioral health services for AdventHealth Rocky Mountain Region. AdventHealth is a national, not-for-profit, mission-driven hospital system with five acute care facilities in the Denver metro area.
We are seeking a physician who will model and lead excellence in clinical practice, doctor-patient relationships, leadership and professionalism as well as someone who enjoys both direct patient care and growing programs.
90% of the Director's time will be clinical, 10% is administrative.

Job Requirements
- Board certified/board eligible in Psychiatry
- Additionally board certified/board eligible in addiction medicine preferred
- 2-5 years of experience
- Extensive experience in psychotropic medication management
- Experience in Medication Assisted Therapy for substance use disorders preferred
- Experience in leadership preferred
- Prior experience in collaborating with APPs preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with an existing multidisciplinary team to optimize care for patients and support a growing program
- Desires a collaborative work environment

- Base compensation: $270,931 + productivity and quality bonuses
- Medical directorship compensation: $28,080
- Signing bonus: $18,000

Practice Description
- A large medication management practice in which the Medical Director sees patients and collaborates with 4-5 APPs
- Individual psychotherapy, currently provided by four licensed clinicians
- A TMS practice staffed by a TMS technician and TMS trained psychiatrist
- 3 Intensive Outpatient Programs: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mental Health and Substance Use
Inpatient Program:
- 30 adult inpatient psychiatric beds staffed by 4 psychiatrists
- 14 geriatric inpatient beds staffed by 2 psychiatrists
- Electric convulsive therapy staffed by 3 psychiatrists
- An assessment team and Psychiatric Consult / Liaison team that provide services to all 5 area hospital ED's and medical floor
